Dynamite Dance Team Has New Director

MONROE, Wash. - December 15th, 2008 - Courtyard Media Foundation President Nathan Mumm has announced Kristi Bourg as the Dynamite Dance team director for the upcoming 2009 season.

Kristi Bourg is born and raised in Washington State. She has been dancing since the age 4 at numerous studios throughout the Seattle area and has been trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. She began dancing at Seattle Civic Dance where ballet was her main focus until the age of 14, when she moved to Kent and concentrated on Jazz and hip-hop as a part of South Side Dance Force's Competition team.

Kristi also was a part of the Eastside Moving Company for 4 years. Westlake Dance Center has contributed to much of Kristi's dancing success; she has been training on and off there for the last few years under the guidance from well known choreographers Kolanie Marks and Kari-Lee Florentine. She is currently a senior at University of Washington majoring in broadcast journalism and Public Relations, and is looking forward to a career working in the media.

Kristi states, "This Dance Team is going to be very active in the community and we look to bring a third year level of dance to the team. We are all excited for this new adventure as dancing is my passion."

There is sure to be a lot of exciting surprises for the 2009 Dynamite Dance Team.
