Mississippi Braves News Release

Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves, in conjunction with Mississippi Murder Mysteries, are proud to announce that Dying to be Married, a murder mystery dinner theatre, will be held at the Crystal Springs Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Café at Trustmark Park on Thursday, February 26th at 7 pm.

Tickets for the dinner theater will cost $38 per person and the price of admission includes the show as well as a three-course meal, tax and gratuity. Tickets will be general admission and seating begins at 6 pm for the 7 o'clock show.

You are invited to attend the rehearsal dinner of Manny Broads & Mary May Soon, played by Derrel Palmer and Keni Bounds.

Will all the ladies in Jackson really be crying when local playboy, Manny Broads, says "I Do!" to the spoiled little rich girl, Mary May Soon? Or will there be a collective sigh of relief? Against her daddy's advice, Mary May has deemed Manny to be worthy of her. Will becoming Mary May's husband truly be a fate worse than death?

Manny's best man, Hal Larious (Tom Lestrade), does not find Manny's cavalier approach to impending doom at all funny. Hal's fiancé and Mary May's maid of honor Zenny Pilate (Stephanie Gault) does her best to get everyone calm, cool and married, especially before anyone finds out what she did last night!

What rehearsal dinner would be complete without an ex-girlfriend, Holly Wood, and Tom Collins, a bumbling bartender (portrayed by Alahna Stewart and Tommy Kobeck) to round out the crazy cast of characters?

Tickets for Dying to be Married can be purchased by calling the M-Braves ticket office at 601-932-8788 or (888)-BRAVES4. They can also be ordered online at mississippibraves.com. Seating is limited to the first 175 patrons and tickets are on sale now.
