Dutchmen Season at the Midway Point

As we begin July, the Dutchmen remain in a heated battled in the East Division! This week's slate of games is highlighted by Thursday's Helmbold's Hot Dog Eating Contest, Monday's doubleheader and next Wednesday's SEFCU Hometown Heroes Night!

Thursday, July 3rd, 7:05 PM, Helmbold's Hot Dog Eating Contest

Hot dog eating contests have become a staple of Independence Day celebrations. On Thursday, the Dutchmen face-off against the Glens Falls Golden Eagles at 7:05 PM and will be hosting a Helmbold's Hot Dog Eating Contest. The first person to eat 5 Helmbold's hot dogs (and buns) will win a trip for 2 to Foxwoods Resort and Casino, 4 Dutchmen season tickets, and a Helmbold's gift certificate. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers will receive 2 Dutchmen season tickets and a Helmbold's gift certificate. Contest entry is only $8 and participants can register on game night or by calling James at 518-495-5175. Thursday is also All You Can Eat Night for only $10! The special includes hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, peanuts & freeze pops from 7-9 PM.

Monday, July 7th, 5:05 PM, Doubleheader & Kids Eat Free

Monday's start time is 5:05 PM as the Dutchmen host the Amsterdam Mohawks for a doubleheader. There will be delicious concession dinner specials during the game. The dinner offerings include a Capital Q pulled pork dinner (includes corn bread and coleslaw) for only $7 and a Dutchmen hot dog dinner (2 hot dogs with chili and cheese, potato salad and chips) for only $5. With the promotion being Mystery Monday, lucky program numbers will be drawn to select fans to choose from sealed envelopes that contain all sorts of great prizes! It's also Kids Eat Free Night; all kids will receive a free hot dog and bag of chips with paid admission.

Wednesday, July 9th, 7:05 PM, SEFCU Hometown Heroes Night

On Wednesday, July 9th at 7:05 PM the Dutchmen take on the Newark Pilots for SEFCU Hometown Heroes Night! All Military, Police, Fire, & EMT and their families will receive free game admission (with proper ID presented at ticket booth on game night) courtesy of SEFCU. Our heroes will be honored with a pre-game ceremony courtesy of Boy Scout Troop 373. During the game, there will be special hero themed promotions all night.
