Dayton Dutch Lions News Release

DAYTON, Ohio - Papa John's has been named the Official Pizza Sponsor of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC. The quality of Papa John's pizza was only one of the factors that led the Dutch Lions to seek out this partnership. The values espoused by Papa John's and the company's philanthropic activities are consistent with the Dutch Lions' model for developing relationships in local communities, which made this an ideal affiliation.

"We are very happy to have Papa John's as the Official Pizza Sponsor of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC," said Business Development Manager Koen Driessen. "One of the core values held by Papa John's is constant improvement. They never stop trying to surpass their previous best and constantly "˜raise the bar.' That philosophy fits perfectly with the Dayton Dutch Lions FC.

There are multiple facets to the new partnership between Papa John's and the Dayton Dutch Lions FC. Papa John's will be sold at Dutch Lions home games, which will be played at Beavercreek High School. The pizza company will also be present at other events organized by the Dutch Lions. Additional benefits for fans will include discounts, special deals, and giveaways.

"We are excited to partner with the Dayton Dutch Lions. This is such an exciting team with a vibrant future," said Shawn Handy, Director of Operations, Papa John's Dayton. "It is great to be associated with a team that not only excels in professional soccer, but is also passionate about the quality of their youth development and athletic training programs."

The Dayton Dutch Lions FC kicks off its season at home against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Beavercreek High School Stadium. To purchase tickets or to learn more about the Dayton Dutch Lions FC, please visit www.daytondutchlionsfc.com.
