
Dusters remain in Amarillo

Amarillo, TX 6/23/09 - The Amarillo Dusters will play the 2010 season in Amarillo, the team announced Tuesday.
"After receiving multiple offers from other arenas in Texas, I have decided to keep the team in Amarillo," commented Dusters Owner/President Randy Sanders. "The Dusters have invested themselves in the Panhandle community, and I hope and pray the Panhandle community will invest in us".
The Dusters will enter their sixth season as an Arena Football 2 team in Amarillo. The Dusters plan to slash their season ticket prices by as much as 30% for the upcoming season.
"We understand the country is going through a rough patch in today's economy," remarked Dusters General Manager Joe Morgado. "2010 season seat holders will see reduced season ticket prices as well as more benefits added to their season ticket packages."
Current season ticket holders will begin seeing their renewals in the mail soon. In honor of the Dusters' sixth season in the Panhandle, when a fan buys five season seats, you will receive the sixth seat FREE! Get on board now for the 2010 season by calling the Dusters office at 806-350-PASS.
Amarillo (2-10) will return home this Saturday, June 27th at 7pm to take on the Iowa Barnstormers. Fans will be able to put their names in a drawing to win a chance to "Ride with a Duster" at Wonderland this Sunday from 1pm-3pm. Game tickets start as low as $10. Fans may purchase those show tickets by contacting the Dusters at 806-350-PASS.
