Amarillo Venom News Release

Amarillo, TX 5/28/09 - The Amarillo Dusters were out and about today at the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon helping the Amarillo community at BSA hospital.

"This is a very neat cause, and our players realize how important giving back to the community means to the city of Amarillo," echoed Dusters head coach Ben Bennett. "It feels good to do the right thing. Giving back to the kids and staff at the Children's Miracle Network is something the Dusters and myself look forward to participate in every year."

Dusters players answered phones and signed autographs while working the phones. "This is such a special experience to be at BSA and helping others," said Dusters quarterback Matt Bassuener. "This is a special opportunity to be in a position to reach out beyond what we do on Saturdays."
