(Nashua, NH) June 3, 2009 - The U.S. Military All-Stars announced today that Dan Duquette former Boston Red Sox General Manager will serve as President of a five-team organization that encompasses one of the most unique baseball enterprises in the world. His base of operations will be located at Historic Holman Stadium, home of the newly minted American Defenders of New Hampshire representing the professional team in the franchise. As a former General Manager of the Montreal Expos and Boston Red Sox, Duquette brings a wealth of experience and unparalleled qualifications to a team quickly emerging as a vital part of a unique and dynamic organization to watch. As a baseball executive, he successfully oversaw quick turnarounds during his tenure. As Farm Director of the Expos from 1987 to 1991, he helped build one of the most productive player development operations in the industry. After joining the Red Sox, he rebuilt the scouting staff and farm system into one that has achieved dynasty status. He was honored twice as the Major League Baseball Executive of the Year, first by The Sporting News in 1992 with the Expos and later by the Boston Baseball Writers Association in 1995 with the Red Sox.

"We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Dan's credentials and knowledge leading our entire player development system with a dedication to cultivating young talent while our teams excel at all levels. We are creating something totally new and unique, which requires a leader with the acumen, savvy and intelligence to build an entire organization based on developing talent to deliver winning baseball," said CEO, Terry Allvord.

A Press Conference will be held on the field at Historic Holman Stadium on Friday, 5 June 2009 at 4:30 PM.
