Driver Justin Allgaier To Appear At Sliders Game June 11th

Riverton native and rookie NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Justin Allgaier will be at the Sliders game on Wednesday, June 11th along with his #51 Brandt sponsored Chevrolet.
Allgaier will be on hand to throw out the first pitch, sign autographs and take pictures with fans. The #51 car will be on display as well.
The event is part of FFA Night presented by Brandt Agriculture. All attendees at the National FFA Convention being held in Springfield this week are invited to attend the game for just $2. Attendees will also receive a hot dog and a soda at no extra charge courtesy of Brandt.
It's also an Illinois Times College ID Night where anyone can show a college ID and get a game ticket, a hot dog and a soda for $6.
The Springfield Sliders are members of the Prospect League with teams in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Their 60 game schedule begins in late May and runs into August. All Sliders home games are played at Robin Roberts Stadium located at 1415 N Grand Ave E in Springfield, IL.
