Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - This holiday season the Greenville Drive will be teaming-up with the U.S. Marines' Toys For Tots Program and the Meals on Wheels of Greenville to collect toys and food donations for families in the Upstate.
West End Field, located at 945 South Main Street in Greenville, will serve as a drop off point for toys and food with two locations at the ballpark during regular business hours. Fans may bring new, unwrapped toys or non-perishable food items to either the Drive front office or the merchandise store at West End Field.
"Toys For Tots and Meals On Wheels are both excellent organizations that everyone should support, not only during the holiday season but throughout the entire year," stated Drive General Manager Mike deMaine. "We are fortunate enough to assist in both endeavors and we welcome all donations."
Hours of operation for the front office are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Drive merchandise store is open Monday through Friday 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Additionally, each person that donates to either of these causes will receive a coupon for 10% off at the official Drive team store. Toys and food will be collected through Friday, December 22nd.
Season tickets and partial plans for the 2007 at West End Field, "Ballpark of the Year," are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Drive at (864) 240-4500.
