Drillers\' Dance Team getting ready for 2004

Michelle Stoneham dance team coordinator for the Driller will hold tryouts on December 20th in Nederland. Tryouts will be held at Planet Fitness located on Nederland Avenue and will being promptly at 11 AM. Registration is $25.00.
Each participant will need to bring a headshot and perform 6 eight-counts to the music of their choice. Participants will receive a free one week membership to Planet Fitness. Fifteen girls will be chosen and will receive a free one month membership to Planet Fitness.
"We are looking for enthusiastic young ladies who want to compete at the highest level," Stoneham said.
In addition to the tryouts, the dance team is also announcing a Name the Dance Team Contest. The winner of the contest will receive 2 reserved season tickets to all seven of the Drillers' home games. Entries can be sent to dance@getdrilled.com or by calling the Drillers office at (409)840-9229. The last day to send to enter is Tuesday, December 16th.
In other notes, the Drillers are presently running a special on season tickets just in time for Christmas. Prices are as follows: Reserved $130.00 General Admission $70.00. Act now and receive a 10% discount on any tickets purchased before December 22.
