Beaumont Drillers News Release
The Beaumont Drillers will open their inaugural season on March 5, 2003 against the Tupelo Fire Ants. The announcement was today, along with the release of the remainder of the 14-game schedule.
The Drillers will remain home for their second game against Texas rival Austin. They will travel to Evansville, Indiana to face the Bluecats on March 29 before a bye week on April 5. The Drillers return home on April 12 & 19 to face the Houma Bayou Bucks, followed by Evansville.
On April 26, they will travel to Tupelo followed by a road trip to Enid, Oklahoma to face the Crude before a bye on May 10.
The Drillers return home on May 17 to face the Lexington Horseman followed by three roads trips May 24 to Houma, May 31 to I-10 rival Lake Charles and June 7 to St. Louis, Missouri to face the Believers. They return home on June 14 to face Enid before a bye week on the 21st.
The Drillers finish out the season with a road trip to Austin on June 28th and the final home game will be held July5 against the Landsharks of Lake Charles.
