
Dream Wins in Final Set with Bryans 20-19

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 23, 2015) - Sacramento's California Dream continued their Mylan World TeamTennis inaugural season at Sunrise Marketplace with a (winning) home match tonight featuring marquee teammates, Bob and Mike Bryan, the #1 ranked men's doubles team in the world, against the San Diego Aviators, beating them again, this time with a score of 22-19. The California Dream have played nine matches so far with standings at 4-4 for the season.
The Aviators' Taylor Fritz came out strong in the opening set of the evening defeating the Dreams' Tennys Sandgren 5-4 in men's singles.
However, in the next set, women's singles, the Aviators' Chani Scheepers continued the streak over the Dream's Jarka Gajdosova, winning 5-3 for the Aviators'.
Mixed doubles netted a bold win for the Dream with Bob Bryan and Annabel Medina Garrigues beating Raven Klaasen and Darija Jurak of the Aviators 5-3.
In the next set, the Aviators' Chani Scheepers and Darija Jurak fought a strong match against the Dream's Jarka Gajdosova and Anabel Medina Garrigues to a 5-3 victory for the Aviators in women's doubles.
In men's doubles, the the Dream's marquee players, Bob and Mike Bryan, dominated to beat the Aviators' Raven Klaasen and Taylor Fritz came out swinging throughout a competitive set to take the win from 5-4. Men's Singles - Taylor Fritz (SAN) def. Tennys Sandgren (CAL) 5-4

The California Dream play their final home match on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. They will again face the San Diego Aviators (3-4) on Fan Appreciation Night.
Sunrise Marketplace, in Citrus Heights, Calif., will host all home matches during the 2015 regular season which runs through July 29. The Dream will play seven home matches this July on a specially constructed stadium in the North parking lot at Sunrise Mall. Sunrise MarketPlace is the inaugural sponsor of the California Dream.
