
Dream Return Home To Battle Austin Aces, Aces Win 22-16

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 17, 2015) - Sacramento's California Dream faced the Austin Aces for a second night in a row, this time on home turf and fought a tough battle but lost 22-16 during tonight's home match at Sunrise Marketplace. The California Dream has played five matches with standings at 2-3 for the season.
Men's doubles opened the night with Tennys Sandgren and Neal Skupski dominating Jarmere Jenkins and Teymuraz Gabashvili to win the first set 5-2.
However in the next set, Jarka Gajdosova and Anabel Medina Garrigues battled and lost to Alla Kudryavtseva and Nicole Gibbs (AUS) 5-3 in women's doubles.
Mixed doubles were tough for the Dream with Teymuraz Gabashvili and Alla Kudryavtseva (Aces) beating Neal Skupski and Annabel Medina Garrigues (Dream) 5-1.
In the fourth set, men's singles, The Aces', Teymuraz Gabashvili defeated Tennys Sandgren the 5-3.
In the final set, Nicole Gibbs (Aces) took the win from Jarka Gajdosova (Dream) 5-4 in women's singles.

Women's Singles - Nicole Gibbs (AUS) def. Jarka Gajdosova (Dream) 5-4
The California Dream play their next home match on Saturday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m., which is also Sactown Night where Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada will unveil a wish sponsored by the California Dream at halftime (between the 3rd and 4th set). They will face the visiting Boston Lobsters (3-2).
Sunrise Marketplace, in Citrus Heights, Calif., will host all home matches during the 2015 regular season which runs through July 29. The Dream will play seven home matches this July on a specially constructed stadium in the North parking lot at Sunrise Mall. Sunrise MarketPlace will be an inaugural sponsor of the California Dream.
