New York Dragons News Release
The New York Dragons game versus the division rival Cleveland Gladiators this Saturday, April 26th at 7pm will be broadcast live on MSG-Plus, local channel 72. Jonathan Coachman will do play-by-play, with Dragons radio's own Wayne Morris as the analyst and Tina Cervasio the sideline reporter.
The game will be a rematch of the season opener, a game which the Dragons lost 61-49. New York is riding a three game win streak that has propelled their record to 4-4 as they look to avenge the loss early in the season.
New York's 66-47 win over Tampa Bay last Friday night was the Dragons third in a row. In that three game win streak, the Dragons have outscored opponents by 22 points.
QB Aaron Garcia left the Dragons first game against Cleveland early in the second quarter with a knee sprain, but has since returned to the lineup, looking in top form. In the three game win streak, Garcia has thrown for 863 yards and 22 touchdowns and became only the fourth player in AFL history to throw for over 39,000 yards in his career along the way.
The Dragons will look to continue their win streak and gain ground in the division on Saturday vs. Cleveland. Tickets are still available, to get yours today, call 1-866-AFL-TIXX or send an email to ticketinfo@newyorkdragons.com, or tune in to MSG Plus Saturday at 7pm for the game!
