
Dragons Slide For Good Cause

The Long Island Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be holding their 21st annual "Gelatin Slide" outside the Nassau Coliseum on Sunday, May 20th from 5:00-8:00pm following the New York Dragons home game versus the Kansas City Brigade.
Dragons players, along with the Long Island community will help splash away blood cancers by taking the plunge into 1,500 gallons of gelatin! Each slider is asked to raise a minimum of $250 to participate. Fans can donate money following the game during the autograph session to send their favorite New York Dragons down the slide.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will host another "Gelatin Slide" on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Huntington Hilton in Melville.
