Dragons Collect Cans For Thanksgiving

This Saturday, November 3rd, head coach Weylan Harding and his New York Dragons will be at Stop & Shop on Old Country Road in Carle Place from 11:00am to 2:00pm, collecting canned goods and other non-perishables as part of a Thanksgiving food drive. Fans who donate a can of their choice, will receive an autograph. All goods collected will benefit local families.
Coach Harding will be in attendance from 11:00am-12:30pm. Dragons WR Kevin Swayne and additional players will also contribute throughout the day.
In addition to Saturday's food drive, the Dragons have joined forces with the Long Island Bible Baptist Church, ABBA Leadership Center, Hofstra University and Stop & Shop in providing Thanksgiving dinners to needy families in Hempstead. More than 700 families will be fed this Thanksgiving.
Everyone is encouraged to come out on Saturday, meet the Dragons and join them in making the holidays a little happier for everyone. We look forward to seeing you!
