MILWAUKEE - David Doyle became the tenth player in indoor soccer history to reach 1000 points as his Dallas Sidekicks fell 12-4 to the Milwaukee Wave at the Bradley Center Saturday afternoon.

Doyle reached the milestone with the Sidekicks' first goal of the game on a power play 53 seconds into the second period. Tatu, the second-leading scorer of all-time at 1582 points assisted on the goal. Doyle now has 609 goals and 391 assists. It was also the 84th power play goal for Doyle, which ties him with Kia Zolgharnain for third in Indoor soccer history.

Doyle's goal pulled Dallas (8-26) within 4-2, but Milwaukee would score eight unanswered points en route to the victory. The run started when Michael King tallied at 11:35 of the second to give the Wave a 6-2 halftime edge. Greg Howes and Joe Reiniger scored for Milwaukee (27-6) in the third. Howes then scored again 4:35 into the fourth for a 12-2 Wave lead. Both of Howes goals came on Milwaukee power plays. Brad Flanagan added a late goal for Dallas with Tatu assisting to give the final margin.

Milwaukee gained a 4-0 lead on first-quarter goals from Brian Loftin at 11:35 and Todd Dusosky at 13:27.

The game ended with three members of the 1000-point club on the field: Tatu, Doyle, and King. Tatu is second at 1582, King is ninth with 1012, and Doyle is tenth with 1000.

The Sidekicks finish the season with home games against San Diego Saturday March 22 at 7:05 p.m. and Baltimore Sunday March 23 at 6:05 p.m. These are the final two games of Tatu's 21-year career. He is retiring as a player and will stay as the Sidekicks head coach next season.
