JACKSONVILLE, FL - Tuesday, August 31 - VERSUS color analyst and former all-star quarterback DOUG FLUTIE will continue his series of visits to United Football League training camps in Connecticut on Friday, September 3.

Flutie was a member of the VERSUS broadcast team that provided viewers with an expert insight into the league's inaugural season in 2009 and will again provide color when the 2010 season debuts on Versus on September 25.

He will attend Hartford Colonials training camp at Sage Park in Berlin, CT from 3pm to 5pm on Friday afternoon to scout the team as part of his preparations for analyzing the 2010 UFL season. Full details of the VERSUS broadcast team and dates of visits to other training camp venues will be announced.

A phenomenal college football player, Flutie is a popular figure in New England having risen to prominence during his playing days at Boston College. A Heisman Trophy and Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award winner, Flutie also played for the New England Patriots. He led the Toronto Argonauts to back-to-back Grey Cup victories and was named CFL Most Outstanding Player a record six times and MVP in all of his three Grey Cup victories.

"You want to grab a ball and start slinging," Flutie admitted after his first visit to a UFL camp this summer when he scouted the Florida Tuskers on August 25. "You miss that competiveness. Being around these guys, I understand what they're going through in camp."
