Hidalgo, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Dorados defeated the Arkansas Twisters 57-55, Saturday night at Dodge Arena. RGV's Curtis Jeter blocked a 50-yard field goal attempt by David Carlton with two seconds remaining in regulation to clinch the victory for the Valley squad.
Dwight Counter caught the winning touchdown reception with 57 seconds remaining in the contest. Walter Church brought Arkansas back with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Johnathan Schoonover with 27 seconds left in the game.
