Dorados Host Local Tryout Camp This Saturday

HIDALGO, TX: February 28, 2005 â The Rio Grande Valley Dorados of arenafootball2 (af2) have scheduled player tryouts this Saturday (March 5th) at Verizon Wireless Sports Park in Mission. Registration will start at 8:00 AM and tryouts will begin promptly at 9 AM.
The cost to register for the tryout is $40 and the non-refundable fee includes a Dorados t-shirt. Registration can be completed at the Verizon Wireless Sports Park from 8 - 9 AM on March 5th, and those wishing to register in advance are encouraged to contact the Dorados offices at 956-843-7825. Payments for registration will only be accepted in the form of cash or money order. No credit cards or checks will be accepted.
Camp participants will be evaluated by Dorados Head Coach Kevin Guy, who will be analyzing player abilities in several on field drills. Athletes are encouraged to bring athletic attire for the camp and a pair of cleats. Players will seek an invitation to the Dorados Training Camp, which begins March 23rd with 35 invitees seeking to make a 21-man roster. This camp will be the only one conducted in the Rio Grande Valley.
