The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to be participating in the 2006 Big Red Bucket food drive. Food is collected in red buckets, which are distributed by the Salvation Army to families in need.
Fans and sponsors wanting to donate can drop off any non-perishable food item to the Storm office located at 1910 S. Minnesota Ave. Fans can also donate cash or gift cards from area grocery stores that will be used to purchase items.
Food items that are requested include boxed potatoes, powdered milk, canned vegetables, and many others. A list of items needed is available at the Storm office or online at www.theempiremall.com/about_us/news/1924. The deadline for donations is November 16 at noon.
