'Dogs find Bone

Richmond, VA – The Richmond RiverDogs of the United Hockey League have signed RW Jason Bone to a contract for the 2004/05 season. Bone joins the ‘Dogs after opening the season with Verdun of the NAHL.

Bone racked up 54 penalty minutes in five games with Verdun this season. He helped the Dragons to a QSMHL title last season (the league changed it's name to the North American League this season). Bone has two seasons of UHL experience with Adirondack. He accumulated 553 PIM in two seasons with the IceHawks. The Manitoba native played Major Junior hockey in both the WHL and OHL prior to turning pro.

· The ‘Dogs now have 19 players on the roster: Brian Goudie, J.F. Picard, J.J. Wrobel, Luch Nasato, Jami Yoder, David Brosseau, Francis Belanger, Jonathan Gagnon, Jeff Sanger, Trevor Senn, Mark Turner, Ryan McIntosh, Sean Keene, Ryan Prentice, David Hymovitz, Justin Quenneville, Mark Langdon, Frank Burgio, and Bone.

· Season seats are still on sale now for $570 in the Center section ($494 for minors and seniors), and $418 ($342 for minors and seniors) in End sections. To purchase your season seats please call 225-PUCK (7825).

· The ‘Dogs open their second season Friday, October 15 vs. Port Huron at 7:35 in the Richmond Coliseum. The ‘Dogs and Beacons face off again Saturday at 7:35. Tickets for all RiverDogs games are available at all TicketMaster outlets and the Coliseum Box Office. Tickets can be charged by phone through TicketMaster by calling 262-8100.
