Dodge to Sponsor All-Star Game
September 30, 2003 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
ALBUQUERQUE - The New Mexico Scorpions and the Central Hockey League announced today that Dodge will be the title sponsor of the 2004 CHL All-Star Game. Along with the announcement of Dodge as the title sponsor, the logo for the event was unveiled.
The logo features a New Mexico trademark, the Zia sun, which is a tradition of Native Americans throughout the state and also featured on the state flag. The yellow, black, red and blue colors on the logo are also the primary colors for the Scorpions. The logo was created by KickSave Design of Albuquerque and Fort Worth, Texas.
"We are pleased to continue our support of the Scorpions and the Central Hockey League as title sponsor of the 2004 All-Star Game," said Paul Hofelich of BBDO Dallas. "This event brings a tremendous amount of exposure to Dodge and our New Mexico Dodge Dealers, and it's a great thing for the community. We look forward to an exciting event and a great atmosphere with the best players that the CHL has to offer in January."
The 2004 Dodge CHL All-Star Game will be held on Thursday, January 22 at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, immediately preceded by the 2004 CHL Skills Competition. The 2004 Dodge CHL All-Star Banquet will be held the night before on Wednesday, January 21.
