Greensboro--After conducting an internal investigation into the events that took place on May 23rd, following the Greensboro Prowlers game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers, and conferring with Operator Art Donaldson and Head Coach Steven Jerry that the organization has come to a decision for the actions of both Thaddeus Bullard and Cranston Johnson.

Team President Rocco Scarfone, Operator Art Donaldson, and Prowlers Head Coach Steven Jerry made a request to the arenafootball2 league office for further game footage, as well as interviewing players that were at the incident for their reactions, and following a complete and thorough investigation of the matter have decided to request the suspension of both Cranston Johnson and Thaddeus Bullard for the remainder of the 2003 season. The arenafootball2 league policy states that the team can only suspend players for a maximum of two games, anything beyond that must come from the league office itself.

Rocco Scarfone was quoted as saying that the organization found these acts to be "intolerable, non-excusable, and will not be condoned by the organization." Head Coach Steven Jerry said that "regardless of circumstances surrounding the actions, players must be held accountable for the act itself."
