Diesel Sign Two on Defense

Tri-City Diesel News Release


Kearney, NE—The Tri-City Diesel are pleased to announce the addition of linebacker, Wade Kittleson, and defensive lineman, Thomas Demoss. Kittleson is a 6'2" 240 pound linebacker from North Dakota State University. Wade joins former North Dakota State teammate Leif Murphy on the Tri-City Diesel defense. Kittleson, a two time All-NCC selection at Linebacker lead a stingy NDSU defense to a 12-2 record and a berth in the NCAA Division II Semi-Finals. Kittleson is currently working as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Also signing with the Diesel is 6'2" 290 pound defensive lineman from Widener University in Pennsylvania, Thomas Demoss. Demoss was chosen as a 2003 1st Team All-America selection by numerous publications including the Associated press and the American Football Coaches Association. Demoss, the Middle Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the year lead a tough Widener defense with 67 total tackles, 39 solo tackles, a league leading 22 tackles for loss and 9 sacks. Demoss was selected to represent the United States in the Aztec Bowl in Cancun, Mexico. The US team consists of the Top 42 Division 3 players against Mexico's National Team.

The Tri-City Diesel is looking to clinch the Pacific South Division on Saturday, May 22nd as the Wichita Falls Thunder comes to town. Kickoff is set for 7:30 at the Tri-City Arena and tickets can be purchased by calling 308-338-8180.
