The Tri-City Diesel signed four new players after tryouts held last weekend at the Tri-City Arena.

Offensively, the Diesel add lineman Jessie Eaton (Kidder, MO) and receiver Greg Lathan (Dolton, IL). Eaton, a 6'3", 334lb. center/guard, brings size and experience to the team having played for the Quad City Steamwheelers of the Arena Football 2 League. Lathan, 5'10", 198 lbs., played for the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois and could see time at receiver and/or running back.

On the other side of the ball, the Diesel picked up defensive lineman Wes Prickett (Chapman, NE) and defensive back Eric Greene (Harvey, IL). Prickett, at 6'3", 236 lbs., played for Grinnell College in Iowa where he was a member of the all-conference team as well as an academic all-conference selection. Greene, 6'0", 186 lbs., also played for the University of St. Francis where he was a two-time all-conference selection and was selected defensive back of the year three times.

"I felt we had a good turnout for the tryouts, everything went well and ran smoothly," Diesel head coach Leland Skeen said. "It gave us a chance to put the final touches on our roster for the upcoming season.
