Bismarck Roughriders News Release

The Bismarck Roughriders of the National Indoor Football League have announced the signing of last season's NIFL leader in all-purpose yards, AJ Street.

The 6' 190lb WR from the University of Mary was arguably the most exciting player in the NIFL last season with 2425 total yards and 31 touchdowns. AJ quickly made a name for himself as the most dangerous kick returner in the league racking up 1501 return yards to go along with 6 kick return for touchdowns. AJ also ranked 3rd in the league in receiving with 60.3 yards per game and 23 touchdowns and fifth in the league in total scoring with 188 points.

"It's nice to be back in a place where I feel very comfortable, I can't wait to get back out there in front of the best fans in the league," said Street. "

AJ has the ability to make a big play every time he touches the ball, I'm looking forward to using his talents all over the field," Head Coach Luke Shafer. "

AJ's speed changes the way teams play the game and we're going to get the ball in his hands as much as possible," added Schafer.
