
Diesel Announce New Head Coach

Kearney, NE âThe Tri-City Diesel is pleased to announce that their new Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator will be Robert Fuller. Fuller is a native of Mandan, ND and has been an assistant coach in the NIFL for the past two years. In 2002 he helped guide the Bismarck Roughriders to a 12-4 record. While with Bismarck he was the Offensive and Defensive Line Coach as well as the Strength and Conditioning Coach.
In 2003 he moved on to coach the defensive line with the Pacific North Champions, Omaha Beef. Coach Fuller was also the Strength and Conditioning Coach in Omaha. After the 2003 NIFL season ended Coach Fuller went back to his alma mater, University of Mary, in Bismarck and was the Offensive Line Coach and Specials Teams Coach where he helped them reach the NAIA Quarterfinals and end the year with a 10-2 record.
"We are very excited to have Coach Fuller join the Diesel organization, we feel that he is going to bring a lot of talent and energy to the Tri-City Diesel," said Mike Skeen, Tri-City Diesel General Manager. "Robert is a young energetic coach that has a lot of good recruiting tools which will be a very big plus in the NIFL," Skeen added.
