(Jackson, TN) August 24th- For a second straight game the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx played come from behind baseball as the Diamond Jaxx broke a 4-4 tie with four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Montgomery 8-5 in game two of the five game series.

Marwin Vega (3-3) picked up the win in relief of starter Tracy Thorpe. Vega pitched two innings, allowing a run on two hits for the win. Shawn Kelley bounced back after two consecutive blown saves to record a perfect ninth inning for his ninth save of the season.

Mike Wilson and Marshall Hubbard had two RBI's each to help lead the Diamond Jaxx offense. Jeff Dominguez had two hits while Mark Kiger and Matt Mangini chipped in with run scoring hits to help highlight an eight run, eight hit attack.

Ryan Reid suffered the loss for Montgomery, dropping his record to 5-3 on the campaign. Reid allowed the four runs in the seventh inning, though only two were earned. He gave up two hits and walked two in his one inning of relief.

Rashad Eldridge was the hitting star for Montgomery, going 3-5 with three RBI's. Eldridge was a triple away from the cycle. Gaby Martinez had two hits and a RBI.

The middle game of the five series is set for Monday at 7:05 CDT. Righty Gaby Hernandez (4-1 5.44) gets the start for the Diamond Jaxx. Montgomery will counter with righty Jeremy Hellickson (3-3 3.92).
