PEARL, Miss. - Due to wet weather from what is now Tropical Depression Fay, the Mobile BayBears and Mississippi Braves have been postponed for the second consecutive night at Trustmark Park. The teams are now scheduled to play doubleheaders on Monday and Tuesday at 6:05 p.m.

In Monday's twin-bill, Matt Green (2-2, 6.10) and Hector Ambriz (5-12, 5.17) are expected to pitch for the BayBears against right-handers Todd Redmond (12-5, 3.54) and Tommy Hanson (7-3, 3.27). The BayBears are 0-1-4 in doubleheaders this season. They haven't played doubleheaders on consecutive days since they hosted the Birmingham Barons in back-to-back double dips on August 20 and 21, 2005.

The BayBears return to Hank Aaron Stadium to begin their final series of the season on Thursday, August 28 when they battle the Barons. Call (251) 479-BEAR for tickets or log on to www.mobilebaybears.com.
