River City Rascals News Release
The Rascals final weekend of the regular season is here, and we've saved some of our best promotions for last. The annual Diamond Dig is this Saturday, August 29. All women have the opportunity to dig through the Rascals field in search of a diamond pendant valued at $2,000! And on Sunday, we'll get the Halloween season started early by allowing kids to wear their costumes and trick-or-treat at the ballpark for FREE!
The Rascals Diamond Dig presented by Great Clips and Miller's Fine Jewelry is always a crazy night in which one lucky lady (18 and over) will leave with a diamond. Participants can purchase a digging tool for $5, of which 100% of the proceeds go back to Kurt Warner's chartiy First Things First, and dig to find a diamond pendant valued at $2,000. To make the night even more "female friendly", we'll have Walter Knoll Florist providing free flowers to the first 200 women in attendance that night.
On Sunday, August 30 we will get a 2 month headstart on trick or treating by handing out free candy throughout our ballpark to all kids in attendance. We encourage kids to dress up in their old (or new) Halloween costumes and join us for an afternoon of spooky entertainment! We will fill the ballpark with Halloween decorations, Halloween music, and other fun kids activities. There will also be free autographs on the field after the game with all Rascals players, so you're kids won't want to miss this game!
Tickets for both games are available to purchase online, or at the Rascals box office the day of the game. For more information, call (636) 240-2287.
