Snohomish County Explosion News Release
Vancouver, British Columbia - April 24th 2009 - The Snohomish County Explosion (2-3) lowered the BOOM on the IBL expansion Vancouver BC Titans (3-2) with a 117-109 win. The Explosion and IBL top scorer Devon Greene had 47 points in the win and hit 10 three point buckets and was tremendous from the free throw line. Richard Ford now being called MR. Double-Double as this is his fourth game of the season with that title, had 22 points and 12 rebounds.
The Explosion team has battled some early season jitters but had a great outing showing signs of moving forward as they are 2-1 in the North Division behind the leader Bellingham Slam who won again tonight. This sets up for a great game tomorrow night as the only team to defeat the Slam this season, Seattle who squeezed out a five point victory last week in Monroe. Tomorrow night will definitely be a rumble with the Slam in town, and the first 200 fans to enter the gates will get "Boom Sticks" to help create that little extra noise for the home team.
