IGNITION VS. STORM ON SUNDAY!!
The Detroit Ignition are back in action this weekend as they face the Wave in Milwaukee on Saturday, and return to take on the Storm at home on Sunday! Kick off is at 4:35 pm at Compuware Arena and tickets are still available.

DETROIT ROCKERS REUNION ON JAN. 18!
Come watch members of Detroit's indoor soccer history reunite as former players from the Detroit Rockers, Neon and Safari take the field at halftime of the January 18th Ignition game! The Ignition is offering a special $20 Rockers Offer that includes a game ticket, hot dog and a soft drink.
NOMINATE THE SOCCER MOM, MANAGER AND COACH OF THE YEAR!
The Detroit Ignition are currently seeking their 2009 Soccer Mom, Manager and Coach of the Year! In 150 words or less, reward your favorite soccer mom by nominating her to win! Be sure to include with the nomination your name, soccer club/team and the name of the person you are nominating. Deadline for entries is Sunday, February 8th. PLAY WHERE THE PROS PLAY!
Would your youth soccer team like to play on the official playing field of the Detroit Ignition? Turf Time tournaments are organized prior to each Ignition home game - your team can even play at halftime! The club is currently looking for teams to play in the following tournaments:

For January 18: U9 Girls - ONLY ONE SPOT LEFT!
For January 25:U10 Boys - FULL!
For January 25:U12 Girls - FULL!
For February 8:U12 Boys - ONLY ONE SPOT LEFT!

JOSH RIFE WINS DEFENSIVE HONOR
Ignition defender Josh Rife has been named the XSL's inaugural Defensive Player of the Month. Rife performed admirably on both ends for the Ignition in December, with eight blocks, two 2-point goals and an assist in three contests. Rife donned the sixth attacker jersey in the Ignition's first victory, when they tied New Jersey with :06 remaining then won in overtime, 16-14. Congratulations, Josh!

Kick off your school year with the Detroit Ignition! The team is now scheduling school assemblies for the 2008-09 school year. The Ignition School Assembly Program is geared towards students from kindergarten through middle school. The interactive assembly program brings professional indoor soccer players into schools throughout the Metro-Detroit area. With topics including the importance of setting goals, making the right choices, and living a healthy lifestyle, having the Ignition come to your school is both fun and informative.

PIZZA PARTY WITH THE IGNITION!
