
Destroyers re-sign OL/DL Mike Sutton

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Destroyers have re-signed offensive/defensive lineman Mike Sutton, team President David Paitson announced today. Sutton becomes the fifth re-signing for the 2007 campaign.
Sutton (6-4, 285, Louisiana State) started in all 16 games for the Destroyers in 2006. He recorded 16.5 tackles (11UT-11AT), two tackles for a loss, four pass breakups, a fumble recovery and a blocked kick.
Sutton, who will enter his fifth season in 2007, has recorded 51.5 tackles (35UT-33AT), a fumble recovery, an interception, four pass breakups, four forced fumbles and 4.5 sacks in his career.
The Destroyers 2007 season will kickoff in late January and run through June. The Destroyers are now accepting season ticket deposits from new customers for the 2007 season. For more information please call (614) 246-HITS.
