The Dallas Desperados kickoff the 2005 season with their first training camp practice on Tuesday, Jan. 4. This year's camp includes workouts with the Arizona Rattlers (Saturday, Jan. 15 and Sunday, Jan. 16) and the Austin Wranglers (Friday, Jan. 14 and Saturday, Jan. 15). All practices will take place at Texas Stadium unless inclement weather requires a change in venue. All on-field practices are open to accredited media, including the joint practices with the Arizona Rattlers and the Austin Wranglers. Following each practice, players and coaches will be available to the media for interviews.
Training camp opens with 37 players competing to make the final 24-man roster. Attached is a tentative daily schedule of events for training camp.
The Dallas Desperados kickoff the 2005 season on Sunday, Jan. 30 by hosting the Chicago Rush at the American Airlines Center. Season ticket packages are available by calling the Desperados ticket office at 972-785-4900 or by visiting the Desperados official website at www.dallasdesperados.com.
