Desert Dogs Face San Diego Seals in Historic Stadium Showdown Saturday

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Las Vegas Desert Dogs are set to play in the first-ever outdoor game in National Lacrosse League history this Saturday, March 4 when the team travels to face the San Diego Seals at Snapdragon Stadium.
The game will faceoff at 1:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast locally in Las Vegas on MyLVTV and nationally on ESPN+, while re-airing the same day at 8:00 p.m. PT on ESPNU.
"Our team is excited to be a part of this historical moment in NLL history," said Head Coach and General Manager Shawn Williams. "We are looking forward to the challenge of playing a talented Seals team for the first time this season. I think it will be a great event for fans and the sport of lacrosse. Our guys are fired up to play this Saturday."
"Our goal for the NLL and for the sport of lacrosse is to continue to increase awareness, enthusiasm and enterprise value well beyond where it exists today. This epic setting gives us another unique opportunity to showcase our world class athletes and on-field product, and not only engage with our core audience but attract diverse sports' fans in search of new entertainment passions," said Brett Frood, NLL Commissioner.
The Desert Dogs (4-5) are riding a three-game win streak, with their latest victory coming this past weekend with an 11-9 victory over the Calgary Roughnecks.

The Desert Dogs will be back home on Saturday, March 11 for the team's limited edition Wayne Gretzky jersey giveaway presented by Pinbox Doughnuts. By popular demand, now the first 4,000 fans (previously 3500) in attendance for Las Vegas's 7:30 p.m. matchup with the Vancouver Warriors on March 11 will receive a Gretzky Desert Dogs No. 99 jersey with a valid game ticket.
