
Derek Lee Returns to Force

Duluth, GA - The Force added depth to their receiving corps on Friday, as well as a face familiar, when they were assigned veteran wide receiver Derek Lee.
Lee spent his first three seasons with Georgia, from 2005 to 2007, playing both ways as a wide receiver and linebacker. While with Georgia, he caught 323 passes for 3,547 yards with 79 touchdowns. He was named to the league's All-Rookie Team in 2005 and was First Team All-Arena and All-Ironman in 2006. Defensively, he amassed 34 tackles, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and a touchdown.
He left Georgia for Columbus, where he established single season franchise records for receptions (142) and yardage (1,762). He had another solid season with Dallas in 2010 before joining Chicago this past summer.
Lee, 30, presents a large target at 6'5", 225 pounds. He spent his college years at Tennessee Tech.
