Denver Cutthroats Start with Rapid City in Preseason

The Denver Cutthroats will host the Rapid City Rush for an exhibition game on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Denver Coliseum. This event is free for season ticket holders, single game tickets for the exhibition game will be $5.00. The puck will drop at 7:00 pm. Following the Cutthroats' exhibition game at home, the team will take to the road and face the Rush in Rapid City at 7:05 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2013.

Saturday, August 24: Hockey in the Community

Denver Cutthroats players Sean Zimmerman, Phil Tesoriero, Matt Glasser and Gill the mascot helped to collect new and gently-used sports equipment at the second annual Jessica Ghawi giveSPORTS equipment drive on Saturday, August 24 at the Pepsi Center. Ghawi was an aspiring sports journalist who lost her life in the Aurora Theater tragedy. It was her dream to provide children that had lost everything with sports equipment and A Precious Child was able to bring that dream to life and collect more than 14,000 pieces of equipment.

Cutthroats Headlines

JP Chabot and Troy Schwab Attend AHL Training Camps:

JP Chabot will attend the Hartford Wolfpack's training camp this September. "I'm very happy and excited to have received an invitation with the Hartford Wolfpack in the AHL," said Chabot. "I'll ensure to work hard and use the skills I have learned during my previous hockey seasons. I'll do my best to well represent the Denver Cutthroats."

Troy Schwab will also be attending training camp this month with the Denver Cutthroats' AHL affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters. "Going to AHL camp in Lake Erie is a great opportunity for me," exclaimed Schwab. "It's great exposure for me, the Denver Cutthroats and the CHL. I'm looking to go to Cleveland, play well and who knows what will happen. It will also be a great way to kick start my year with the Fish!"
