Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that defenseman Kevin Gravel has been reassigned to the Reign from the Kings.

Gravel, 24, skated in five games with the Kings this season including his NHL debut on February 11 against the New York Islanders. The Kingsford, Michigan, native did not appear in a Stanley Cup Playoff contest with the Kings during his recent call-up. With the Reign, Gravel scored seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 55 games this season. He was selected by the Kings in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
