Defenceman Josh Brady Commits to 67's

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's announced, today, that defenceman Josh Brady has signed an Ontario Hockey League scholarship and development agreement with the team.

"Josh is a skilled defenceman, who moves the puck well," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "He has made big strides in his development, and put forth an impressive performance in this year's training camp."

Brady, 17, was selected in the 10th round, 190th overall by Ottawa in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection. The Peterborough, Ontario native spent the 2022-23 season with the Pembroke Lumber Kings (CCHL), scoring three goals and 15 assists, for 18 points in 44 games.

Prior to arriving in Pembroke, Brady played minor hockey in Peterborough, before suiting up with the Clarington Toros U16 AAA (ETAHL) program in 2021-22.

The 67's begin their four-game preseason schedule on Sunday, with a 2:00pm visit to the Kingston Frontenacs.
