*The Daytona Cubs are pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Matthias as the club's new Director of Sales. This will be Chris' third year in minor league baseball and the first with Daytona. Chris has spent the past two seasons with the Hagerstown Suns of the South Atlantic League. Chris is a graduate of Sheppard College in West Virginia and is a native of Eastern Maryland. We are very excited about Chris joining us and know that he will be a great asset to the team and the community.

**Be sure to join the Cubs players and coaches after each Cubs Sunday home game for the Cubs Post-Game Radio Show at the Crazy Coyote Bar & Restaurant. The Crazy Coyote is located on Beach Street, just across the street and one minute from Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Following every Sunday home game the Crazy Coyote will play host to the Cubs 2-hour Post-Game Radio Show. Cubs radio personalities Kyle Bushn & Bo Fulginiti will have players, coaches and fans on-air to talk about the game that just took place or about any related Daytona Cubs topic. This is your chance to hang out with the Cubs players and coaches after what is sure to be another Daytona Cubs victory.

***Attention fans of all ages; the Daytona Cubs are encouraging you to get to the ballpark early on Sunday, April 18th for your chance to throw out the games ceremonial first pitch. Gates open at 12:00 noon and anyone interested in throwing out one of the many first pitch balls can take the field and do so. The goal is to have every fan in attendance throw out a first pitch. First pitches will begin when the gates open at 12:00 noon and will end at 12:50, just before the games National Anthem. Come on out for this once in a lifetime chance to throw out a first pitch at a professional baseball game.

****All fans are encouraged to bring your cameras to Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Wednesday, May 19th. Players & Coaches will be available to pose for photos immediately following the game with fans of all ages. For those fans that forget your camera, the Daytona Cubs will take your picture and produce a color photo for you. This is your chance to get your photo taken with a professional baseball player after what is sure to be a great game.

*****Are you ready to live out your all-time dream and take a swing for your chance at hitting a home run at Jackie Robinson Ballpark? Well, the Daytona Cubs are providing this opportunity to all fans. Anyone interested in participating in an on-field Post-Game Home Run Hitting Contest are encouraged to attend the Cubs Tuesday, June 8th home game. There will be different age groups and male vs. female groups, with all winning prizes for the fans that can hit a ball the farthest. You will not be hitting off of a tee, so bring your A game and be ready to take a few cuts.

Spring Training is right around the corner. We are expecting a championship team this year in Daytona, so be sure to keep up with all of the action on your favorite Daytona Cubs and upcoming promotions at the Cubs website at www.daytonacubs.com. We have added some new features and are planning some more in the next couple of weeks. Be sure to visit 'A Day in the Life of Nobu.' You will definitely find it amusing.
