The Dayton Demonz again are challenging again for the Federal Hockey League (FHL) Regular Season Championship heading into the final week of play. If the Demonz are able to secure first place in the regular season standings the Demonz will have home ice advantage through the play-offs.
This weekend the Demonz face the Danville Dashers, probably the hottest team in the 2nd half the regular season at Hara Arena. These 2 games will be a challenge to the Demonz as the Dashers match-up well with the Demonz. Also these two teams could possibly play each other in the first round of the play-offs depending on what the Demonz are able to accomplish in these two critical games, and what the first place Watertown Wolves do in their final games. Currently the Demonz are just percentage points behind the Wolves for the first position.
The first game between the Demonz and Dashers will be on Friday, March 6th, with a face-off at 7:35pm, gates open at 6:35pm. A live jersey auction will be held immediately following the game.
The second game will be Saturday evening, March 7th, again with a face-off at 7:35pm as the teams will wrap up the regular season. A jersey auction will be held immediately following the game. Gates open one hour prior to the game at 6:35pm.
