Dayton Bombers News Release


Dayton, OH- The 2007 American Conference Champion Dayton Bombers have announced that they will be making appearances at the Greek and Popcorn festivals this September.

On September 8 and 9 come join Bucky "the Flying Squirrel", the Bombers furry mascot at the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival with his pals from the Dayton Bombers Booster Club from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in the "Kids Zone."

Also that weekend the Bombers staff will be at the Dayton Greek Festival from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, and 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday distributing promotional materials on the exciting 17th anniversary season of Dayton Bombers Professional "AA" Hockey. Fans will be able to enter to win fantastic Bombers prizes, including tickets to opening night.

The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival is September 8 and 9 on Dayton-Xenia Road between Fairfield road and Meadow Bridge. For more information on the festival and directions visit their website at www.beavercreekpopcornfestival.org.

The Bombers' Opening Night Extravaganza is Saturday, October 20, against the rival Cincinnati Cyclones (7:00 p.m.) at the Ervin J. Nutter Center. Group tickets for Opening Night are on sale now by calling 775-4747.
