
Dawson Active in CHL All-Star Win

Bloomington Blaze defenseman Aaron Dawson was part of the winning All-Star squad during Wednesday night's annual Central Hockey League showcase in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Dawson represented the Blaze, presented by Mid-Illini Credit Union, on the CHL All-Star team that defeated the host Arizona Sundogs 6-4 at Tim's Toyota Center. Dawson put two shots on net and did not register a point, but had a plus-one rating for the contest. More details on the annual CHL All-Star Game are available here.
The Blaze begin the second half of the season on Friday night at Fort Wayne before returning home for games on Saturday and Sunday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The first 1,000 fans attending Saturday's 7:05 p.m. contest against the Missouri Mavericks receive a water bottle compliments of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. Sunday's 4:05 p.m. face-off against the Quad City Mallards is Kitchen Cooked Family Fun Day, with tickets for kids 12 and under just $5 and kids meals of a hot dog, chips and a drink are just $3 each. Sunday's game also features a post-game skate with Blaze players.
