Davidson Earns Ironman of the Week Honors

Commerce City, Colo. (Apr. 22, 2003) - Charlie Davidson (5-11, 195, Mississippi State), who is in his eighth AFL season, led Colorado (2-10) with his two-way performance by hauling in 11 receptions for 136 yards (both career highs) and three touchdowns in the Crush's 49-45 victory over the previously top-seeded Tampa Bay Storm (9-3) on Sunday. On his way to garnering Ironman of the Game honors, the former All-Arena performer added a rushing touchdown and 5.0 total tackles. The former Bulldog is second on the Crush in scoring (90) and tackles (41.0). This marks the first time Davidson has earned an AFL weekly honor.
