WHERE: Fayetteville, N.C., the Crown Coliseum Hospitality Area
WHAT: N.C. State basketball legend David Thompson will speak at the Crown Coliseum as part of a joint venture between the Fayetteville Patriots and Advanced Information Technology. Thompson made the top of the list in many publications' ACC Top 50 list. He was a three-time first-team All-American between 1972-75. The Fayetteville Patriots game against NBDL-rival North Charleston will follow the Thompson dinner.
WHEN: Friday, January 24, 2003...The dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.
WHY: To provide media, basketball fans and season-ticket holders an opportunity to meet and hear a series of basketball legends speak in Fayetteville. David Thompson is just one of a list of basketball greats the Patriots plan to invite to speak before games.
