Tonight, Saturday, November 17th at 7:35 PM the Danbury Whalers take on the 1000 Island Privateers at the Danbury Ice Arena.
Saturday's game will not feature any specific promotion other than good old fashioned Federal Hockey League action. This is a rematch of last season's semi-final matchup in the playoffs.

We will be filming a commercial tonight. We've got some awesome events planned for this, get ready to make some noise and have some fun.
This action packed night will also feature fundraising efforts for the following groups - the Danbury Family Literacy Center, the Danbury Trojans Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleading team, and Team Robby. Be sure to purchase chuck a pucks, whales, and 50/50 tickets to support their cause.
The mission of the family Literacy Center is to provide literacy experiences for children birth to age 6 and their families to improve their children's success in school.
By developing skills and knowledge in literacy and health, and changing behaviors and attitudes towards healthy living, the Family Literacy Center will realize its vision that all children will be ready for and successful in school.
The Danbury Trojan Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleading squad is headed to the Pop Warner National Championships at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The Danbury Athletic Youth Organization is goal is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities. The DAYO teaches fundamental values, skills, and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives.
Team Robby - We have a hockey family that needs our help. Local residents and longtime Danbury hockey fans, Gregg and Angela Klimaytis have a 4-year old son Robby. Last week Robby was pinned under tree and is currently on Life Support in Hartford. Please keep this family in your thoughts. There will be auctions, raffles, and memorabilia, please come out and lend your support to this family.

Park in the Patriot Garage across the street from the Danbury Ice Arena. It's safe, secure, and legal. Make sure the only ticket you get is to the game.
After the game, be sure to stop by Billy Beans on 80 White Street for the post game party. Meet the players coaches, staff, and management. It's going to be a great time.
