Danbury, CT- June 11, 2014: The Danbury Westerners, the longest tenured team in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, are reminding fans of the franchise of their 20th year celebration this Saturday, June 14th at Rogers Park, Mountainville Avenue Field.
The festivities start at 3:00PM, with fun for the entire family, activities for kids, and live entertainment. Free hot dogs will be served while supplies last, and the event itself is free and open to the public.
Fans are invited to stay and watch the Danbury Westerners battle the Vermont Mountaineers, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30PM. On field pre-game ceremonies recognizing several people instrumental in the formation and continuation of our program are expected in attendance. Please plan to arrive early and enjoy the fun!
