Reading broke onto the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning against Portland starter Victor Santos. Logan O'Hoppe led off the inning with a double. Kevin Vicuna advanced O'Hoppe to third with a groundout and Jonathan Guzman drove him in with a base hit, giving the Fightin Phils a 1-0 lead.
