Dallas Rattlers News Release
FRISCO, Texas - The Dallas Rattlers look to sweep the season-series with the Boston Cannons on Thursday, June 7 at 7 p.m. CT at Ford Center at The Star.
The Rattlers (5-2) are off to a hot start as they currently sit second in the league just behind the Charlotte Hounds. With a win Thursday, the Rattlers will take sole possession of first place for the first time this season.
After a road win at Florida, the Rattlers return home for a key mid-season matchup with a Cannons team they defeated 13-12 earlier in the season. The Cannons (2-5) have struggled this season but have added Trevor Baptiste, the draft's number one overall pick, who looks to bolster the Cannons' chances at the faceoff-x.
Several milestones are up for grabs for the Rattlers in the upcoming matchup. With three goals, Jordan Wolf will hit 150 career goals including regular season and playoffs. Fellow attackman Ty Thompson looks to extend his impressive streak of 17 games with at least one goal. The last time Thompson did not score was April 29, 2017. Goalie John Galloway is set to play his 99th career game against Boston and is on pace to hit 100 games played with the home matchup on June 17 against the Ohio Machine.
The Lava Cantina Pregame Tailgate starts at 5 p.m. featuring DJ Kiks. Doors for the game open at 6 p.m. and the first faceoff is set for 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on Lax Sports Network.
